Can A2 milk be used for lactose intolerance?

If a person has been tested and shown to be lactose intolerant, A2 milk would not be appropriate.  The carbohydrate in A2 milk is lactose just like regular milk.  However, if a person does not have lactose intolerance but is having the symptoms of lactose intolerance such as bloating, gassiness, and stomach discomfort, A2 milk may help because of the easier digestion process as compare to A1 predominant milk.
